A-LEVEL COMPUTER SCIENCE
The A level course gives you a good grounding in all aspects of computer science. As such, it is a very good basis for further study of computing related subjects at university or further education.
Topics are clearly structured and cover a wide variety of computer science issues. Learners will study topics including information representation, communication and Internet technologies, hardware, software development, and relational database modelling. As they progress, learners will develop their computational thinking and use problem solving to develop computer-based solutions using algorithms and programming languages.
The CIE A Level Computer Science qualification is gained once all 4 exam papers are successfully completed.
Our A Level Computer Science E-Book offers an interactive learning experience to guide you through the A Level specification. You can also choose to add two years’ tutoring support for only £35.
Your online course contains mini assessments at the end of each chapter. However, if you wish to sit a Mock Exam before the finals, we can arrange that at the centre or online. Mock exam fees are additional, and they may vary from £25 to £50 per paper.
Roughly 6 months before your chosen exam date, you should book your place at an exam centre to take the final exam exams for A-Level Certificates.
